Contact us about a partnershipWhat SaveRadar is
SaveRadar is a Spanish price-comparison platform for fuel and electricity. Every feature — search, filtering, tariff cards, and educational content — is available in 37 languages, making it the first platform genuinely accessible to the entire foreign-resident population of Spain.
Unlike generic comparison sites, SaveRadar is built specifically around the Spanish regulatory framework: we display real all-in monthly costs including the Impuesto Especial sobre la Electricidad (5.11%), meter rental (€0.81/month), and IVA (21%). Users trust the numbers because they match their actual bills.

Who uses SaveRadar
Our primary audience is foreign nationals who live in Spain and have difficulty navigating Spanish-language comparison tools. This includes EU citizens from Germany, Romania, the UK (post-Brexit residents), France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland — countries that together account for over 4 million registered residents.
These users arrive with high purchase intent. They have a Spanish postcode (often entered on first visit), they are actively comparing tariffs, and they are typically in the process of setting up a new home or switching provider. Conversion rates in this segment are structurally higher than generic Spanish-language traffic because the user has already self-selected as a potential switcher.
SaveRadar also reaches Spanish nationals who prefer to compare in English or another second language — a growing professional segment in major urban areas.
Why this market, why now
Spain's foreign-resident population grew by over 400,000 in 2023 alone, driven by digital nomad visas, post-Brexit UK relocations, and continued intra-EU migration. This is the fastest-growing energy-consumer segment in the country — and the one least served by existing comparison infrastructure.
Spanish energy providers have historically relied on Spanish-language call centres and in-branch contracting as their primary customer acquisition channels. Both are structurally inaccessible to residents who do not speak Spanish. The result is that a significant proportion of the foreign-resident population either stays on the default PVPC rate or contracts through informal word-of-mouth — leaving commercial opportunity on the table for providers willing to invest in the channel.
SaveRadar is the first comparison product built specifically to close that gap. Our language advantage is protected by network effects: each new locale requires additional translation, legal review, and UI adaptation — work that takes months and scales poorly for general-purpose platforms.
The data pipeline
Tariff data is collected manually from official provider websites and verified against CNMC published rate information. Each tariff in our database includes energy price (€/kWh), power price (€/kW/day), tariff type (fixed-rate, indexed, or time-of-use), permanency conditions, and green-energy certification status.
Our electricity cost model applies the full Spanish tax stack to produce a single, honest monthly figure. This is what the user sees ranked on screen — not a stripped-down "from" price. Users who have been burned by misleading price advertising elsewhere find this transparency meaningful.
Fuel price data comes from the official MITECO API (sedeaplicaciones.minetur.gob.es), covering approximately 12,000 stations updated every 30 minutes. This is publicly mandated data under Directive 2019/1024.
How the partner model works
SaveRadar operates a performance-based affiliate model. You pay only when a user completes a switch or confirmed lead — there are no listing fees, no monthly retainers, and no minimum spend. The cost-per-acquisition (CPA) or cost-per-lead (CPL) rate is agreed in advance and fixed per contract term.
Electricity channel — how a typical referral works
- A German-speaking resident in Valencia searches for electricity tariffs on SaveRadar.
- Your tariff appears in the comparison results, ranked by calculated all-in monthly cost.
- The user clicks through to your sign-up page via a tracked referral link.
- When the contract is confirmed, you report the acquisition and a CPA fee is invoiced.
Fuel channel — branded station networks
Fuel station operators and branded networks (Repsol, Cepsa, BP, etc.) can partner to surface their stations prominently in SaveRadar's near-me and province search results. We cover 12,000+ stations sourced from the MITECO API. Partnership options include:
- Priority display for branded stations in search results within a given radius.
- Station detail pages enriched with loyalty programme information and app download links.
- CPL model for loyalty card sign-ups driven via SaveRadar traffic.
Ranking in the default view is always price-determined — no partner can pay for a higher position in the unfiltered results. This protects the user relationship that makes our traffic valuable to you in the first place.
There is no exclusivity requirement. Partners are free to list on other comparison platforms simultaneously. We believe our language advantage creates a sufficiently distinct channel to make the partnership worthwhile without lock-in.
What you get as a partner
- ✓Distribution across 37 languages — your tariff or station is visible to users regardless of which language they browse in.
- ✓A qualified, high-intent audience: users who have entered their consumption, power, and postcode are actively comparing, not browsing.
- ✓Full-cost transparency that aligns with CNMC disclosure obligations — reduces post-sale disputes and regulatory risk.
- ✓No lock-in: month-to-month or fixed-term arrangements both available.
- ✓Campaign flexibility: we can highlight green-energy certifications, promotional rates, loyalty programmes, or special conditions for multilingual customers.
- ✓Verified data sources: MITECO for fuel, CNMC-verified rates for electricity — your listing appears in a trusted, independent context.
- ✓Reporting: click-through and referral data available on request during partner onboarding.
